Cinnamon Roll Pigs In A Blanket

This very simple recipe (2 ingredients) is a play on the favorite party app with a sweet twist. Instead of simply wrapping the little cocktail franks in crescent dough, why not substitute cinnamon roll dough and finish with the sweet glaze included in the can of rolls? Winner winner! Great for a brunch or quick tailgate snack.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of cinnamon rolls
  • 1 package smoked cocktail franks

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. Flatten each cinnamon roll using your hand or a rolling pin. Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut each disc into four strips. Roll one cocktail frank up in each strip. I ended up with 32 since my rolls were eight in a can divided into four. Place on baking sheet lined with parchment or a sprayed foil sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes or until brown. During this time, I placed the cup of icing included in the cinnamon rolls on a warm stove to loosen up. Or, you could remove metal top and place in microwave for just a few seconds. You just need it loose enough to drizzle onto the rolls when they come out of the oven. They won’t last long, trust me!
